A thankful feline is overjoyed that she was rescued from the streets just in time and found the right family to care for her kittens, and that they can now all relax in their new home.
The cat was exploring the streets of an apartment complex in Capshaw, Alabama, before being rescued. After a few months, a group of local rescuers were able to locate the kitten with the excess weight in her stomach and transport her to the Forgotten Felines Huntsville shelter.
Canasta, a pregnant cat, was in desperate need of a secure environment to give birth and nurture her kittens.
She was put in a foster family to receive the attention she need, and she developed into a lovely youngster there.
“She is a really nice girl who is always delighted to see me enter the room, comes over for caressing, and keeps an eye on everything I do.” She is continuously looking for love ».
All of the occupants of her foster home, including a cat named Charlie, were attracted by the adorable feline with slightly averted eyes.
Canasta quickly established himself as the king of his foster room, displaying his playful and mischievous side. She quickly formed a rhythm with her foster mother, walking across the room to her scratching post to file her nails every time she ate.
He then sat down on his mother’s lap and began a long session of hugs and caresses, which is his favorite part.
The friendly feline expressed her joy at having a household that provided her with a lot of love while also meeting all of her demands.
She is a foodie who eats until she is entirely satisfied whenever she has the opportunity, and her belly swiftly swelled owing to her pregnancy. Meanwhile, Charlie was fascinated by her new companion and paid her several visits in an attempt to become her buddy.
Canasta and the tabby cat proceeded to develop a nice friendship over time, and she accepted the friend request he sent.
Robyn had this to say:
“She’s quite nice, and she’s very comfortable right now.” Charlie’s tail has turned out to be a fascinating toy for her. And Charlie manages to put up with it admirably.”
Canasta began to behave like a regular cat, leaping, climbing, and playing around the home, despite his large tummy. He seized everything he could find in his house, including Charlie’s favorite hammock, but he didn’t seem to mind.
