Kugo the cat is about 5 years old, and he enjoys getting into and playing with stuff he shouldn’t. He enjoys trashing whatever he can get his hands on, including his mother’s art tools, locating and eating items like tortilla chips and Cheerios, and playing with his mother’s art equipment.
Kugo’s mother, Taylor Barton, told us, “Kugo is an immensely fascinating, adorable little danger.” “He resembles a dog more than a cat.”
Kugo felt he’d conquered the world until his mother placed an order for a delivery that included packing peanuts.
When Barton opened the delivery, he expected to discover bubble wrap, but instead found hundreds of packing peanuts. Kugo had never seen packing peanuts or anything slightly like to the unusual, seductive substance before, and he was fully and utterly entranced within minutes of entering the box.
“There was a pile of them on the floor, and he laid down right away,” Barton explained. “He went insane when I put him in the box.” Play in full crazy mode.”
Despite the fact that the package of packing peanuts came some days ago, Kugo’s infatuation has not subsided, according to Barton. He loves to play with the peanuts and naps in them all day, sometimes for four or five hours at a period.
When she’s not home, Barton shuts the box so Kugo doesn’t eat the packing peanuts, but when the box is open, the packing peanuts are all he can think about. Kugo is fortunate in that his mother works from home, giving him lots of opportunity to adorn his favorite packing peanuts all day.
“When I initially bought them, he was going crazy, spreading them all over the room and digging about in them, getting buried, and just going crazy,” Barton recalled. “When he’s at his most playful, he attempts to get into the box overnight (creating a lot of noise in the process).” During the day, though, I’ll open it for him, and he’ll slumber for hours. He’ll gradually sink in until only his head is visible.”
Kugo has a number of odd hobbies, such as staring at bugs out his windows and watching YouTube videos, but according to Barton, he’s had a one-track mentality ever since he fell in love with the packing peanuts, and there’s no knowing when or if it will ever stop.
