Rutile is a two-year-old ginger and white cat who was given to Lollypop Farm, a Fairport, New York-based animal protection group. The cute kitten was saved from a home fire in Perinton, along with more than 90 other cats.
Rutile was suffering from a variety of injuries when he arrived to the shelter, but the volunteers were eager to assist him in any way they could.
“Rutile was coated in soot, his whiskers and fur were singed, he had an upper respiratory infection, and he had horrific burns on all four paws due to the fire.”
Despite his difficult health situation, the adorable kitten was ecstatic to be cared for with so much love and commitment. He had been anxious to be loved since he came, and whenever a member of the shelter approached him, he requested for pets and head scratching.
Rutile had a very soft personality, and even if he got everything he wanted, all he needed was someone to take care of him forever. The most intriguing feature of the friendly feline is a heart-shaped mark on his back that represents love and reflects his personality.
According to the rescue center,
“Rutile is always on the lookout for love, and she knows how to express it!”
Every day, the adorable kitten goes about with his heart on his back, as if he’s too proud to wear it. He also lives up to his adorable reputation and isn’t afraid to lavish attention on those around him.
Rutile enjoys all of his interactions with his carers, but his favorite is when they begin to caress and embrace him. Rutile has a cleft palate, which vets found when he was being treated for his injuries.
Staff at the shelter had this to say:
“He underwent surgery to correct the condition and continues to receive veterinary treatment at Lollypop Farm.”
The kitten has come a long way since being rescued, but his inner cat is flourishing as he becomes more energetic and lively every day.
He’s managed to change himself into a healthy and content cat, and he doesn’t want to miss out on any opportunities to be caressed or adored. The endearing feline always falls in love with everyone he meets and showers them with love and kisses.
