Her given name was Giselle, and the weather forecasts were dire when she was born. The spine and limbs of this cat were severely malformed when she was born.
Her initial owners didn’t have faith in her. They didn’t realize Giselle was a fighter, and because they didn’t know how to care for her, they placed her in a care center run by the Massachusetts Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals ( MSPCA ).
When MSPCA doctors first saw Giselle, they agreed with her owners that she would not live. Her fur was extremely matted and filthy, and she was in very poor health.
The animal shelter’s manager, Alyssa Krieger, noticed something unique in Giselle. She wasn’t only a cat that wanted to have a regular life; she also had a charming personality. This “little giant” was ready to find a new home after a haircut and the appropriate care.
When Alyssa announced that they were seeking for a decent home for Giselle on social media, she got almost 3,000 adoption petitions, with Holly’s proposal being picked.
Giselle had finally discovered her happy place! Holly renamed her Potato and introduced her to her three feline siblings, Jack, Lady, and Little Sister, all of whom have greeted her with open arms.
Potato has won the hearts of over 156 thousand people through his Instagram account, where footage of this cute cat can be seen. His little legs and blindness do not stop him from racing around and playing with his brothers.
He also had wonderful love experiences with his owner, Holly. When it’s time for some TLC, Potato comes up to her and lies down at her feet.
Holly takes her in her arms without hesitation and lavishes her with all the love and protection she requires, understanding that all creatures, whatever of appearance, are deserving of love.
