One night, Stacey and her husband went out to dine. Unbeknownst to them, they were going to meet a stray cat in search of love.
They were walking to a restaurant when they came upon the prettiest tiny bottom they’d ever seen. Stacey was approached by a blond cat that wanted her attention. He leapt into her arms and nestled into an embrace without hesitation.
The lovely deed of the feline buddy pleasantly surprised Stacey, an animal lover.
They weren’t sure if the cat belonged to someone, but he proved to be tenacious. They didn’t have the heart to say no when he persisted on hugging and petting him.
Stacey couldn’t stop thinking about the cute kitten when they eventually sat down at the restaurant.
Local employees informed her that the cat had been outside for some time. She couldn’t believe her eyes when she saw the front door.
A familiar small face pressed against the front door glass and a pair of paws. The cat they had recently befriended was waiting at the door, its adoring eyes staring directly at them.
From the window, the tiny bum was staring at Stacey the entire time. The poor kitten was quite thin, and the weather was bitterly cold at the time.
Stacey realized she had to help him in some way. She couldn’t help herself, so she wrapped him in a towel and carried him to her home.
Stacey cuddled close to the cat as he fell asleep in her arms and slept the entire way home, knowing he was in excellent hands.
The mustachioed man was lying down and holding each other by the time they reached home. He just sat there watching Stacey’s small dogs run about her.
Stacey put up many posters with a photo of the cat throughout town and took him to a veterinarian to have his microchip scanned, assuming he had one.
No one phoned to claim it, despite our best attempts. She took it as a sign, gave him the name Lucky, and adopted him into her family.
Lucky enjoys being cuddled and stroked. He waits for Stacey to get up from her bed every morning and offers her the prettiest paw hello ever. Lucky has been Stacey’s happiest kitten as well as her most faithful companion in the year and a half after he was discovered.
