Haley Waugh, a foster volunteer at the Front Street Animal Shelter in Sacramento, California, received a message about a little kitten found outdoors at a restaurant a few weeks ago: It was an all-alone kitty.
Haley already had a number of rescued animals and had no intention of adding to her collection, but she couldn’t say no.
Because she wasn’t sure what she could do and genuinely wanted to assist the furry one, the person who found her called the rescuer.
The kitten was in danger because she had an upper respiratory illness, was underweight, dehydrated, and flea-infested.
The first thing Haley did when she got the kitten home was to get rid of all her fleas.
She gave the kitten a much-needed wash, combed her fur to eliminate knots, and wrapped her up in a warm blanket.
He wrapped her in a nice blanket and placed her near the heater to keep her warm. The small girl was soon purring happily. Who knows how long it had been since she had felt so relaxed.
Antibiotics and steam therapy, popularly known as “kitty spa” or “kitty facials,” were administered to the cat to help her overcome congestion in her upper airways.
The tiny child began to pull herself together after a little setback and didn’t mind being tube-fed.
She eventually healed, regained her strength, and began to eat independently like a genuine champion.
As soon as he was able to breathe normally again, his hunger increased. She also regained her ability to smell. Nothing was going to stop her from eating now, so Hailey watched with delight as the tiny child began to eat with gusto!
Her foster home’s spirit has become the tiny warrior. She has gained a lot of weight and is doing well with her health problems, but she is also incredibly kind to other people and animals.
Haley’s puppy is one of her favorite companions. The reality is that the rescuer is overjoyed at how well the young girl has healed, particularly after such a difficult start.
The good news for the kitty does not end there, as she is already guaranteed of a loving home in addition to her steady recuperation. She will be adopted by the same person who rescued her and summoned a professional to take care of her as soon as she is ready for her new home.
