Two kittens that had been abandoned by their mother in Alexandria, Canada, needed help. The cats were advertised on social media in the hopes of finding a kind person to adopt them.
Mellissa, the founder of Tiny but Mighty Kitten Rescue, a cat rescue organization headquartered in Ontario, Canada, saw the article at the time and quickly contacted the individuals who had the kittens.
When their mother abandoned them, the children were just four weeks old. Melissa gave the following information:
“From the photograph, I knew I had to save them.” That morning, I traveled to Alexandria and picked up these infants.”
The kittens were filthy and hungry when they were picked up; however, after they arrived at their new home, they ate like they’d never eaten before and cuddled up to sleep contentedly in their new bed.
Ace (black and white) and Indie (grey) were the kittens’ names, and after a well-deserved wash, they were ready to explore the area.
Mellissa noted that the two small ones shared a remarkable relationship.
They were inseparable, and as their appetites expanded, they began to demand nourishment every two hours, and then they began to want food or snacks.
