We want all of the world’s little animals to live their days with a caring owner, free of injustice, helplessness, and neglect. However, this is not always the case, and their prospects are gloomy.
Stitch is a kitten that, like many other animals, suffered at the hands of animal breeders who were harsh to them. One of the kittens, a Sphinx, suffered a little damage to one of her eyes when she was born.
The illness was simple and should have been cured up in a matter of days with some medication, but the breeder ignored it, and things worsened. He took her to the vet when it was too late and they opted to remove the tumor.
The breeder, who had owned Stitch since birth, then chose to dump her at a shelter since she would no longer be able to sell her for a profit due to her condition.
A snapshot of Stitch was posted on social media by Phoebe Gill, a 24-year-old female. He fell in love with this one-eyed hairless cat as soon as he heard her story and knew he wanted to adopt her as soon as possible.
Stitch had to adjust not just to his new existence without an eye, but also to his new home and family after moving into Phoebe’s house. The only problem was that the girl had another visitor at home: Alaska, her terrifying bull terrier dog.
As a result, Phoebe was concerned about how the kitten would get along with her bull terrier and how the huge, cranky dog would react to the new family member.
Phoebe was really fortunate. Alaska was enchanted not only by the attractions of Stitch, but also by the possibility to adopt a loving and special kitty. The two creatures were inseparable from the moment they met.
Alaska is no longer the only one that follows Phoebe around her residence. Stitch has also decided to join the gang. They share everything: they eat, sleep, and play together… There is never a time when they are not in contact with one another.
This young lady is pleased to have given Stitch the second opportunity he so richly deserves.
She understood it would be difficult for a cat with her traits to find the appropriate home because of her condition, but everything worked out better than anybody could have dreamed.
Stitch now has a doggie friend that keeps her company and helps her feel secure and cherished, in addition to a loving owner who accepts her as she is.
