There is no love stronger than a mother’s love, and this is true for all species. And it is that a mother will never be at ease knowing that her children are in danger and want assistance; they will constantly keep an eye on her safety.
This mother cat was rescued with her two kittens by a kind samaritan who had spotted her presence. When her mother was rescued, though, she couldn’t stay quiet and asked her hero to let her go.
It occurred in Port Coquitlam, British Columbia (Canada). Her person claims that her mother was agitated and pleaded with her to let her out, so she left her to see what she had done.
The cat dashed into a nearby garage and emerged with another baby in her jaws; what was remarkable was that her mother entered four more times, giving birth to a total of seven gorgeous kittens.
She was the only one who knew of her babies’ existence; she had to get them to safety, and she didn’t stop until they were all with her.
They quickly sought assistance from the Vancouver Orphan Kitten Rescue Association (VOKRA), which accepted the family of eight without hesitation.
When rescuers arrived, they discovered that one of the newborns had an issue with one of its hind legs and required immediate medical treatment.
The kitten had an infected paw, and despite their best efforts, it lost a portion of it. Submerging his paw in a liquid that aided speed up healing was part of his recovery procedure.
Her VOKRA caregiver had this to say about her:
“Because of his incredible silver fur, he’s been fondly dubbed Long John Silver!” Nothing can stop him, even if he is missing a portion of his rear leg!
The lovely kitten is much better today, and he now walks with his three tiny legs like a pro.
