Bell was rescued from being a homeless cat when she was only a kitten. She had fleas, pink eye, and cat flu when she was rescued, but she healed fast with the support of her new family. They adored her above everything else, and she has returned their affection every day since.
Bell’s mother, Aurora Brooks, told us, “She was usually joyful, purrs extremely loudly.” “She’s wary of strangers, yet she enjoys cuddling when no one is around.”
Brooks gave Bell and her cat brother Hugo a new baby sister one day, and at first, none of them seemed interested in the new arrival.
“When we got the infant home, Bell and Hugo couldn’t have cared less,” Brooks said. “They sniffed her and that was the end of it.”
Despite the fact that neither cat seemed to recognize they had a new sibling, Bell quickly discovered there was something to be happy about: all the exciting toys her new sister brought with her.
After the baby arrived home, her parents set up a bunch of her toys …
…and Bell was certain they were all for her right away, and she was perplexed when the baby sought to use them instead.
“I believe she enjoys the toys more than the baby,” Brooks said. “She loves that play mat.”
Bell finally discovered that all the great new toys were due of her baby sister after playing with the baby’s toys for quite some time…
… and finally fell in love with her family’s newest member.
