Ben Vroomans could tell Frank was a strange little cat when he initially acquired him two years ago. He didn’t enjoy being stroked or held at first, but as he got to know his new dad, he came out of his shell, and today he’s one of the kindest, funniest cats Vroomans has ever known.
“We got to know one other over the previous couple of years, and he’s now got the largest personality,” Vroomans told us. “I’m still unable to lift up the bloke, but he’s generally really loving.” It follows me around everywhere. He’s my obnoxious little shadow and something of a celebrity among my friends.”
Frank has never been interested in toys for whatever reason, but he does enjoy cardboard couches. When his current sofa began to show signs of wear, his parents shopped for a replacement — but instead stumbled found a cardboard Jeep. They were first concerned that he wouldn’t enjoy it because it resembled a toy, but they decided to give it a try regardless.
“He’s not a ‘toy’ cat,” Vroomans stated emphatically. “He acts as though he’s past such infantile things.”
Frank’s parents handed him the vehicle with trepidation…
… and he instantly fell in love with it.
Vroomans stated, “He loves the heck out of this thing.” “I’m not sure how we’re going to get him out of this.”
Frank, for some reason, adores his jeep more than anything else and now spends the entire day in it. He’s completely enamored with it, and his parents can’t help but giggle that a $8 cardboard vehicle has provided him so much joy.
