Wilson Veterinary Hospital, which operates an in-house pet rescue organization called The Sparky Fund, received a litter of 3-week-old kittens that had been abandoned. When they checked on the felines, they discovered that they were all in good condition, with the exception of a small one who, owing to an illness, had to have a portion of his tail severed.
Sara Budzynowski, who works at the veterinary facility, looked after Renly, the small kitty. In short time, the woman fell madly in love with the adorable cat.
Sara explained to us:
“I brought him home to foster him about a week after part of his tail was severed, and the rest is history.”
Sara and her fiancé were enamored with Renly and began spoiling him almost immediately, giving him his own blanket and a lovely toy rabbit; at ten months old, the little kitten is still utterly enamored with them and insists on carrying his baby blanket everywhere.
According to his adopted mother:
“From the day we brought him home, he’s loved his blanket, and he generally brings it around his room to where he wants to sleep with it.”
Since adopting Renly into their house, the couple has now adopted two corgis, Hotchner and Azula, into their family, and Renly has decided to share his cherished blanket with his new siblings, just as a big brother would.
Sarah guarantees:
“Hotchner and Renly share a room, and when we get home from work to let them out, we occasionally see that Renly has placed his blanket next to Hotch’s box, and Hotch attempts to stuff it into the box with him.”
Renly normally takes his blanket with him everywhere he goes, and if he doesn’t, he goes in search of his rabbit plush, but the blanket must mean a lot to the lovely feline because it was a present from his parents and is a sign of the day he was adopted by his family.
