Panda has lived with his family for five years and has always had a strong voice in the household. He enjoys following his mother around and meowing about anything is on his mind. He enjoys going out at night and bringing his mother presents such as bark, leaves, and other people’s clothing. Panda has carried everything home.
He values his family much and has pledged to cherish and defend them at all costs.
Panda’s mother was in another room, participating in a Zoom conference, when she heard him meow really loudly. She imagined he’d brought home a present for her to see, but as the meowing continued, she decided to check.
Panda’s meowing wasn’t about a present at all; it was over a bird who had flown in via an open window and was now stranded inside the home.
Panda was completely out of control, meowing hysterically, enraged that a bird would dare to enter his home without his consent.
Panda’s mother, Lisa van Seters, told us, “I raised quite a ruckus since I couldn’t get the bird out of my room (I was attempting to throw a towel over it).” “Until it flew into the kitchen and out the window, he was meowing like mad.”
Van Seters expected Panda to calm down now that the bird was safely out of the home, but he was still enraged.
“When the bird left, Panda was not happy,” van Seters added. “He walked the house for 30 minutes, meowing in search of it.”
