The creature, all tattered, with a few bruises and a clearly sorrowful expression, captured the heart of Maria-Eve, a compassionate woman from Montreal, Canada. She couldn’t get past the cat, who was roaming aimlessly about the neighborhood.
Leagues could witness the feline’s difficult history, noting that the first time it was seen by Mara-Eve, it was searching through some trash cans.
The cat, like many stray animals across the world, simply ate pieces of food that it managed to catch and leftovers that some kind human decided to leave for it.
Maria-Eve wanted to help him and mistakenly believed that she could save him right now. Unfortunately, nothing could be farther from the truth; the cat was suspicious.
