Unfortunately, there are individuals in the world who, when their pet is towards the end of its life, decide to dump it or send it to a shelter because they do not want to care for it. This is what happened to a 17-year-old cat that was taken away from the only home she knew.
Kaelle, the senior kitty, was taken from her home since her family no longer loved her; she was unhappy and confused at the time and had no idea what was going on. Kaelle kept her head down the entire time she was being examined by a veterinarian; she was devastated and in an unknown location.
Every time the shelter workers checked on her, they attempted to cheer her up and reassure her that she was in good hands. The kitten, on the other hand, seemed to have no idea what was going on or why her family had abandoned her in this location.
Kaelle’s position devastated the employees at Chatons Orphelins Montréal, a cat rescue group in Montreal, Canada, and they acted quickly. The volunteers immediately began seeking for a foster home to care for and nurture the cat.
A member of the rescue center, Celine Crom, told Love Meow:
“Considering her age, Kaelle was in good health. She was quite lovely, and she didn’t object when the veterinary staff examined her at the clinic.
Amandine, a foster volunteer with the organization, learned about Kaelle’s need for a foster home and offered to help right away. The woman brought the cat to her house without hesitation, and she was eager to go to any length to make her feel at ease.
Kaelle was hesitant at first, but as soon as she heard her foster mother’s name, she ran up to ask for a pet.
Then he decided to go around his new house and examine every inch of it, and when he was done, he returned to Amandine and asked for more caresses. The delighted kitty purred herself to sleep on her new bed, indicating that she was overjoyed to be loved once more.
When the cute kitten with two extra fingers realized she had a new home, she chose to reveal her true self.
The cat flourished in a matter of days, becoming the center of attention in the family and beginning to follow her mother.
Celine continued:
“Kaelle is a kind soul who enjoys being touched. She enjoys being in the company of her humans as they work.”
In a short time, the unhappy kitty regained her lovely grin, her scowl dissipated, and the grief in her eyes was replaced by a cheerful expression.
Kaelle demands hugs and kisses anytime she wants them, she doesn’t accept no for an answer, and her people are always willing to help her. Kaelle has rediscovered her inner cat and is becoming quite active now that she has a home and a loving foster mommy.
The kitty is quite dexterous and can easily grab a toy with her extraordinary dexterity; she has grown lively and appears to be in good spirits.
