It is hard for newborn kittens to survive in a dangerous environment, and you can’t imagine how can they survive in a damp and messy basement under an old building. That used to be the place where these tiny kittens lived with their homeless mom cat. But now, they are living in comfort and safety after Stoyan and Dessy rescued them.
Stoyan and Dessy had heard the baby kittens before, but they decided to wait for their mom to show up. After several hours, they noticed the mom cat getting inside the basement. However, the window was too small for them to go through, so they called the apartment manager to ask for access to the basement. Thanks to his help, they found the owner of the basement who was kind and gave them the keys to enter that place. The couple felt grateful to receive trust and support from the owner.
However, when they opened the door, there were no signs of the kittens. Stoyan had to remove all the junks so they could spot where the kittens were. After moving three newborn babies into a carrier, they lured the mom cat into a trap using some food. It was not a difficult task as the mom cat was hungry. Stoyan and Dessy could go home immediately, but instead, they doubled checked to make sure no one was left behind.
At home, they put the baby kittens into a warm bed. They were three little angels who ate and slept very well. Meanwhile, their mom cat was not comfortable enough to join the new family. Dessy gave her some food, hoping that she could feel better after the meal. But things went opposite. The mom cat tried to hide behind the cabinet because she still hesitated to lay trust in humans.
The only solution was to leave her and her babies alone, so Stoyan and Dessy hid away. After a few hours, the mom cat came to her kittens and stayed inside the bed with them. Finally, she learned to overcome her fear so that she could take care of her kids. Eventually, the mom cat and her kittens were rescued to a safe and comfortable place. They couldn’t feel happier to receive love and care from the rescuers.
