Last November, Laila D’Souza, founder of the Winston Memorial Foundation in Kuwait, received a little kitten in need. The kitten, who had a persistent expression of worry on his face, had been given to the rescue center at just four weeks old and required particular care.
Laila greeted her right away and began providing the required care to help the little child progress. Her furball was thankful for all of the aid and attention, and she was given the name Mia, and she gradually improved.
Mia immediately changed into a lively and naughty young girl during her rehabilitation. Mia was enthralled with Laila’s dog, Leya, and liked spending time with her; she would jump on her and play about with her to seek her attention.
Mia’s little stature did not appear to be a hindrance, and she was always looking for Leya to play with. Leya’s relationship aided the cat, who investigated everything with her new buddy.
Mia was a cheerful feline with boundless activity; she had a voracious appetite and would totally submerge herself in the food bowl to satiate it. Everyone in the house was giddy with delight because of her antics.
Mia had a curious anxious expression on her face and rocked her hindquarters back and forth to execute a tremendous jump whenever she set her eyes on a target.
Laila stated,
“She is a lively, loving, and inquisitive young lady. When she’s attempting to capture anything, she always has those huge anxious eyes, and she’s incredibly sweet.’
Mia’s life had taken a complete 180-degree swing, and she was thriving in her foster family. She quickly made friends with another rescue cat called Leo, and the two spent a lot of time together, helping and learning everything together.
Mia, Leo, and five other cats rescued by the shelter set off on a journey to the United States in search of a permanent home just before Christmas.
