For stray animals, existence is absolutely unfair; alone and helpless, they must learn to survive not only against the actions of vicious people, but also against many perils, the weather, and an unpredictable fate.
As an animal lover who dedicates her life to carrying out noble causes for the most vulnerable furry ones, this is how she arrived to the Ashen Veterinary Clinical Center.
Because the kitten suffered a serious damage to one of her legs, she had to be moved to a different facility. Fortunately, Ashen did not desert her and remained by her side throughout the ordeal.
Unfortunately, after a thorough examination, the vets decided that his leg should be amputated; the procedure was successful, and this tiny ball of fur has had to adjust to his new existence since then.
During the most trying days of his rehabilitation, Ashen couldn’t stop thinking about the cat, especially after witnessing the kitten’s compassionate reaction when he first saw her, so he determined to keep her forever.
“I couldn’t get her off my thoughts and couldn’t stop thinking about her.” So I decided to go see her again, hoping that if she was still there, she would adopt her and do everything she could to provide her with the greatest life possible.”
Ashen was reunited with his new pet and brought it home a few days following his recuperation. When the kitten came, she was overjoyed to be with her new favorite person, and she expressed her thanks to her with a charming gaze and soft caresses.
Days passed, and Ekim progressed adequately; bit by little, he formed a wonderful relationship with the rest of Ashen’s kittens.
It didn’t take him long to figure out how to walk on three legs and go on new adventures. Ashen had this to say:
“She had her first self-guided tour of the home and even used the litter box.”
Ekim was seen to be very friendly and lively, running, playing, and jumping around like any other four-legged cat.
But what Ashen never expected was to fall madly in love with Hayko, one of his kittens who is disabled in his rear legs.
Hayko was taken under Ekim’s wing, and he was just charming. Ekim was incredibly loving, and while the other cats tended to maintain their distance, she was always on the lookout for her new buddy.
Ekim is constantly on the lookout for hugs and company to ensure his new best friend’s safety. It didn’t take long for her to master the role of her big sister, and she now gives the kitten wonderful baths followed by embraces and purrs.
“Two months ago, I told Hayko that I would help him heal and better his life. “Every day, I am so glad that she is progressing and thriving with us, and it’s all because of motherly Ekim,” Ashen remarked.
Ekim is now a very happy kitty who has spread her delight to the other kittens.
She continues to win the hearts of her mother and the hundreds of Internet users who follow her on various networks with her sensitivity and unique way of being.
“She’s my little one-winged angel,” Ashen says, “the most friendly cat I’ve ever seen.”
